Blueberry smoothies are a refreshing treat to enjoy on a warm summer day or anytime you need a pick-me-up. Blueberries work well with any other berries, such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and acai berries, as well as a whole host of other ingredients like bananas, pineapples, oats, and even peanut butter! With tons of blueberry smoothie recipes to choose from, it’s easy to find the perfect blend of ingredients to suit your taste.
Blueberries mixed with kale and other greens like spinach make excellent green smoothies, and they’re also an excellent breakfast smoothie or meal replacement option, thanks to their high fiber content. A scoop of protein powder or some Greek yogurt gives any blueberry smoothie an added boost of protein.
